Aikido

Aikido, also known as the "Art of Peace," is a martial art that has roots in the Samurai of Feudal Japan. Strongly influenced by Daito Ryu-Aiki-Jutsu and Kenjutsu (samurai sword arts), this martial art focuses on blending and redirecting the energy of an attack, and using the energy of the attacker, thus requiring less physical power to defend yourself.

Classes are offered Mondays from 6:30 to 8 p.m. with instructor Dennis Robbins. The cost is $35 per month. Space is limited, so register in advance by calling Golden Dragon Family Training Center.
